Our Story
Wilmington Country Store has been a staple in the community of Greenville, Delaware for nearly 70 years. When G. Stevenson Smith opened the store in 1952 he had a simple premise: to sell quality merchandise. Today, we carry on that tradition by only offering the finest quality, most unique styles and the latest trends in fabrications from companies we trust. WCS and their sister store, The Pink Crab, a Lilly Pulitzer signature store in Annapolis, Maryland, is currently owned and operated by Mr. Smith’s son and daughter-in-law; Steve and Margaret Smith.
“We are grateful to our incredible customers for their continued patronage and our staff,
most of whom have been with us for decades. It’s incredible!” – Steve and Margaret
